‘Still’ by Polly Ocean is the second EP / Single by the Manchester, Huddersfield (UK) duo of Polly Anna Rose & Andy N (aka Ocean in a Bottle).

Following on from their debut release ‘Confluence at Le Val’, ‘Still’ is not just a shot across the darkness like their debut; but a full-on assault of vocals twisted inside an evolving beat of sound & ambience, taking forward Polly’s vocals as a driving forward of sound across the darkness across imaginary fields to create a different language.

‘Still’ is not an EP of stillness, but rather a stillness of sound exploring Polly’s protest & autobiographical sojourning & Ocean in a Bottle’s out-of-worldly, graveyard-haunted ambient/experimental isolation taking the listeners into an alternative world that require detailed relistening tracking back layers across childhood, adulthood and all kinds of layers in-between.

Recorded & mixed between January 2023 – April 2023 in Manchester, Huddersfield & various dream states.
